Accessibility statement

Last updated : 15 October 2026

This English text is provided for convenience. The German version is legally authoritative. Barrierefreiheitserklärung

In brief

  • We want the site to work for as many people as possible — online and when visiting the studio.
  • Technical target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA where compatible with our lean setup.
  • Not a completeness guarantee: some content may still need improvement.
  • Send feedback to [email protected]; we usually reply within 1 business day(s).

1. Scope

This statement covers the public website nomadisedexa.digital operated by Nomadisedexa GmbH (Nomadisedexa), Lerchenfelder Straße 45, 1070 Wien. It complements our privacy policy and legal notice.

Accessibility also includes physical access to the studio. Directions: U3 Volkstheater or Neubaugasse, then about 5 minutes on foot along Lerchenfelder Straße. Tram lines 5 and 49 stop nearby.. Opening hours on contact: Monday to Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed Sunday. Sessions by appointment only..

2. Legal context

EU and Austrian rules promote accessible digital services, including Directive (EU) 2016/2102 for public-sector websites. As a private recording studio we are not always subject to full mandatory WCAG compliance, yet we follow recognised standards because clients, narrators and bands arrive with diverse needs.

Studio services are governed by our terms and conditions; this statement covers information and communication, not artistic outcomes of a session.

3. Standards we aim for

We aim for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That includes sufficient contrast, keyboard-operable navigation, meaningful heading structure, text alternatives for informative images and clear form labels.

The site is available in German (primary) and English; language links are clearly labelled. Decorative motion should not harm readability; where animation exists, we respect prefers-reduced-motion when implemented.

4. Measures in place

When building the site we focused on:

  • semantic HTML with landmarks (header, nav, main, footer);
  • focusable links and buttons with visible focus;
  • descriptive alt text for studio photography in Wien;
  • visible labels and required-field hints on the contact form;
  • a consent banner with equal choices, documented in the cookie policy;
  • no information conveyed by colour alone.

Service pages such as vocals and voice-over or podcast and dialogue use clear headings and table headers for prices.

5. Known limitations

Barriers may remain:

  • legacy PDF or audio samples clients send us are not always remediated by us;
  • external map links (OpenStreetMap) follow the provider’s interface;
  • wide price tables on service pages may scroll horizontally on small screens;
  • audio demos on request are sound-only without a full transcript unless delivered separately.

We improve the site incrementally. Statement date: 15 October 2026.

6. Physical studio

Our entrance on Lerchenfelder Straße is at ground level with steps into the doorway area. When booking, tell us if you use a wheelchair or need step-free routes — we will plan equipment moves between live room, booth and control room. Up to 5 musicians fit in the live room; corridors can feel tight at full capacity.

Booking rules including the 30% deposit are in our terms and FAQ.

7. Feedback and enforcement

If you hit a barrier on this site or need content in another accessible format (for example structured text for prices such as €890 for band recording), email [email protected] or call +43 1 526 48 92. Include the page URL and a short description.

For information that involves personal data, you may contact the Austrian Data Protection Authority. General consumer disputes go to the ordinary courts; we do not currently name an alternative dispute body.

8. Review cycle

We review this statement after major site changes and at least once a year. Next review due within one year of 15 October 2026. Older versions are available on request.
